In 2016, whole soft drinks sales had been close 25.8 billion liters, accounting to IDR 123.59 trillion (USD eight.eight billion). Soft drinks industry growth in Indonesia is about eight-9 percent yearly, with prepared-to-drink coffee and bottled water at the prime spots. According to the National Statistical Agency , there are roughly 6,000 massive and medium-sized food and beverages firms with 765,000 employees; and 1.61 million micro and small producers with three.seventy five million employees. As of 2016, a development of 6.9% is noticed in giant and medium-sized corporations and a progress of 11.5% in small-scale producers. Under the Halal Law of Indonesia, it’s mandatory for all merchandise within the Indonesian land to be certified halal. This requirement is set to come back into effect 5 years after enactment of the Halal Law, which shall be on October 17, 2019.
