From an Indigenous grownup literacy activist to women’s well being and inclusion advocates our Award winners are making a distinction and inspiring the UTS community. Desmand King is a proud Anishinaabe who is keen to share and talk about his Indigenous heritage with those round him. His enthusiasm and warm personality shortly earned him the position as one of three BCIT Indigenous Student Champions.
